Basic Dog Accessories
We all want to make our dog look cute in the cutest accessories possible, but before we can do that, we have to get the basics!
- Bedding: Choose a bed large enough for your dog to lie on, fully extended. Make sure that you don't get a bed that will be tempting for the pup to chew on, like wicker.
- Food and Water Bowls: Your furry friend has to have something to eat out of! For larger dogs, get large bowls and bowls with non-slip bases so that when you dog "vacuums" up the food, the bowl won't go flying everywhere!
- Collars: You will need a collar that will fit your dog, so that two fingers can slide under it, but it won't slip of your dog's head. Nylon or leather collars work great but other options include; hound collars, buckle collars, and quick-release flat collars.
- Leashes: Choose a durable leash that is suitable to your dogs size and is comfortable in your hand. If you do not find the collar and leash fitting for your dog, you can get a harness that wraps around the dogs chest and does not cause much strain on the dog's neck.
